So I bought some used Volvo BBS Crater wheels to use in my FC RX-7, and went and had them refurbished. I just got them and noticed that the inner part of the wheel is kind of in bad shape.

Should have taken more attention to that. Other than that wheels seem good.

well... depends on usage.
daily driving, probably just as good as any oem wheel of age.
travk abuse where they would see hard loads, those chips could inckude microscopic fractures across the wheel which could be catastrophic.
everyday use = sure, why not
track use = no bueno

They are going to be for street use. Planning on buying new Enkei RPF1 for the track.

I dont know. you can always ask the tire shop they might have the best idea of what is safe.

oh much nicer than mine. It was a NA but i bought it as a shell. Blew up about 10 years ago

It is a pain in the ass to work in these cars. Snapped 4 screws just removing the bumper.
